Jane Kelly Williams, originally from Georgia, arrived in New York City and made her American debut on Mercury Records with “Tapping The Wheel."

 

She had a Top 10 Contemporary radio hit with Breaking into the Past and another single “Show Me How To Catch a Fish” which was featured in the movie Picture Perfect starring Jennifer Aniston.

 

Some career highlights have been performing with Victoria Clark (Tony Award Winner and star of A Light at the Piazza) at Lincoln Center's esteemed American Songbook Series, where Victoria sang 3 of Jane's songs.


For the inauguration of the same series, Audra McDonald (4 time Tony Award Winner) performed Jane's song “Wonderful You” which she had recorded on her CD “Build a Bridge” (Audra McDonald).

Jane earned a degree in Music Theory from the Manhattan School of Music with a concentration in Piano and Composition. She completed her Choral Conducting Degree at Georgia State University

 

Jane and her husband are currently artists-in-residence at thriving landmark church on Manhattan's West Side.
